Beautiful photography in this one. I love taking pictures of old churches. I even did that and wrote a haunting story for my WordPress sitting in an overgrown graveyard.
I didn’t know that about the Shelley’s how very interesting. Thanks for sharing that with me.
People tend to get scared in graveyards – that I never understand I always find them to be calm and relaxing. The overgrown one I wrote about seems to hug you. it was hard to make a spooky story out of it.

Graveyards seem to be inspiring: Percy & Mary Shelley would spend many a day there, and well, Mary ended up writing “Frankenstein.” 😉

The creek runs off a tributary of the Shenandoah River: lots of spots like this to pause and take it all in.

I love how the reflection in that first picture is in color. It makes me feel like I a peering into another world altogether.
