Opposite our perspectives, LORD,
You and me
Yours the Creator’s, Maker of butterflies
And gravity
Mine the creature’s, bound to muse over
My dead body
You, bursting through my self-bound view of time,
Offer me
A peek into the view that’s Yours
Of eternity.
Today I'm incorporating Sammi's Weekend Writing Prompt (44 words only, "opposite") and Day 3 of 13 Days of Samhain ("Over My Dead Body") as well as Carrie's photo prompt for The Sunday Muse.
“…Maker of butterflies and gravity” ❤️❤️❤️🙂

Yes, I would like to see a bit of what eternity looks like. So much more so now that my daughter is walking there.

That curtain between us and them seems as hard as iron sometimes, but the writer of Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that God has put eternity in our hearts, which explains the preceding “He has made everything beautiful in its time,” otherwise how could it be so for us who grieve?
