Until that Day of resurrection when Christ Jesus returns,¹ a Christian is called to be as “a letter from Christ . . . written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”²
Like this site, I’m a work-in-progress, but by God’s grace, He’s still editing.
What I hope to do here is share with you (and, hopefully, you with me) some thoughts, interests, some musings, and some of what I’ve grasped of what it means to “walk by the Spirit” as the Apostle Paul encourages in Galatians 5:16. But I pray in turn that that we will be led by the self-same life-giving Spirit, that what is written here and what you read here will not be as the “one who sows to his own flesh [who] will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit [who] will from the Spirit reap eternal life.”³ He alone makes anything we do at all worthwhile.
I started this site with my darling husband’s sweet encouragement, he being one who believes that writing is as good as any meds I take for my rheumatoid disease (a painstaking editor my Heavenly Father is pleased to use for my good – Rom 8:28). I’m finding a blog to be like graffiti on a wall or on wet cement, something like a web footprint on an internet sidewalk. But if my web footprint is as large as my carbon footprint, no endangered species need fear extinction on my account.
Thanks for stopping for a while and may God bless you, readers, wanderers, and/or exiles like myself, with a safe journey Home!

Dora, I just noticed your “award free” blog notice at the foot of the page. Bravo. As you say, the comments and encouragement from one’s readers is more than sufficient affirmation.
As for the “awards” for which readers sometimes nominate us, I recognize that process as genuinely good-natured. These “seals of approval” are generally energized by people new to the digital world, who want to praise your work, but aren’t confident they have the words to clearly express such compliments themselves.

My “safe space” turns out not to have been safe after all, lol! Your perception of what being on the “giving end” is all about is one that I had not considered, and I thank you for it. The last thing I want to do is to discourage anyone from feeling free to heap praise on me 🙂 Must update that link.
Thank you, Rob. Appreciate your comments as usual.
